The Importance of Hope

As believers we must hold on to hope. Hope in the promises of God is what helps us to overcome life's many obstacles. We must remain confident that God is faithful. He will fulfill His divine will in our lives. Hope and faith go together. We can't have one without the other.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. We walk by faith and not by sight. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Whoever comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.

Even in our darkest hour God is always there. Even when we forget what He has done for us, He is still there. God is a very present help in time of trouble. If we make our bed in hell, He is still there.

When we feel alone and in despair. When we think that God is not there, It is then, that He is carrying us. He will never leave or for sake us. He's always there, even to the end of the world.

God says to call Him in the day of trouble and He will answer us. Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Saved means to be delivered from imminent danger. God is real. Trust in Him, hope in Him, believe in Him. Believe on the name that God has given us, which is the name of Jesus. It is the only name that saves. There is no salvation in any other.

Jesus is the hope of glory. He is the way the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father, except by Him. Hope in The Lord, who alone is God. He will save anyone who repents and ask. Ask that your joy may be complete. God loves us. It is not His will that any should perish, but that all come to repentance.

God's grace is sufficient

Did you know that during the most difficult times in our lives, that God is always there? Jesus promised to never leave or forsake us. He says that he is with us always, even until the end of this world. So don't worry, don't fret. Do not be discouraged. When it seems as if all hope is gone, look up to the heavens and trust in your heavenly Father, The Almighty God. Trust in Him. Believe in Him and He will see you through your darkest hour.

God's grace is sufficient. When we are weak, He becomes strong in us. God's strength is what helps us to overcome adversity. We cannot fight our battles on our own, we need help from our Savior. When we trust Him and stand on his holy word, God begins to fight for us. He rebukes the adversary and lifts the heavy burdens.

God's love for his children will never fail. He will cover us, protect us and keep us through all trials and tribulations. The Lord our God is a very present help in time of trouble. He is a strong tower where the righteous can run in and be saved. When the enemy comes in like a flood the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.

So don't fret or be dismayed. No matter how many trials and tribulations we may go through we will always come out as pure gold tried in the fire. God's grace is sufficient.

How to Receive Eternal Life Through Jesus Christ

36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Acts 2:36-39 KJV
The Ten Commandments

Exodus 20:1-17 King James Version (KJV)

1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

5. Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

6. Thou shalt not kill.

7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.

8. Thou shalt not steal.

9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved

Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them: “Rulers and elders of the people! If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a man who was lame and are being asked how he was healed, then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. Jesus is “‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’ Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”
